With the intention of helping to alleviate the flood disaster in Thailand. On October 25-26, 2011 the Thai Student Association at the University of Washington organized a "ThaiSA Thai Iced Tea Drive" with aims to raise funds through selling iced tea at the Red Square. The event proved to be a success as a result of the participation of our Thai members and the general UW community as well. We raised more than $300 in this event which will be sent to the Royal Thai Consulate to send to Thailand. Lastly, I would like to extend my greatest appreciation to Araya's Kitchen for donating iced tea for us to sell for a good cause and to the Thai Washington Association for lending us these banners.
ThaiSAhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07764203745299364072noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3504385111596253358.post-53293112012368524562011-10-28T09:18:00.000-07:002011-10-28T09:18:23.150-07:00Greetingsสวัสดีครับ/ Sawadee krup and welcome to ThaiSA's temporary home!

As you may have known, the official ThaiSA website hosted at the University of Washington has been down for some time now... while trying to solve the problem, I will be using this blog as a temporary venue where visitors can find an array of ThaiSA information. This includes, upcoming events, contact information, and much more. I sincerely hope with this website, I will be able to get messages across more easily.

Best Regards,
